Vesements hang on chains. They are envelopes that indicate a presence of the body. The artist plays with the robe as a concealment of the body and creates a body of a possibly beloved, abandoned or even deceased woman. On the one hand, the artist creates a ‚no longer present‘ ‚first skin‘ that permeates its own ‚second skin‘ and thereby becomes present. Although garments and bodies are not physically connected, the sheath forms the body plastic and vice versa.
